CelebNReality247.com has word via People that Mike Sorrentino has been sentenced to eight months in prison and two years of supervised release in his tax evasion case.
In addition to the sentencing, Mike Sorrentino has to complete 500 hours of community service and was given $123,913 in restitution. He has already paid the restitution, but he has a fine of $10,000 that must be paid within 30 days.
On Friday, the 36-year-old Jersey Shore star appeared in New Jersey federal court alongside his fiancée Lauren Pesce.
Mike was in good spirits as he awaited the judge’s ruling, with his family seated in the first row of the courtroom.
After the sentencing, Mike walked out hand-in-hand with his fiance Pesce.
When asked by a reporter “What do you say to your fans,” Mike silently threw up a peace sign with his fingers.

Maybe he can look at the prison stint like the Biggest Loser Camp?
