Hazel E Isn't Here For Mona Scott-Young

CelebNReality247.com is like, WTF, Hazel E? Hazel-E decided to sound off with a post delete this week after she heard what Mona Scott Young’s recent comments were on colorism. Hazel did not appreciate her answer!

In response to Mona’s remarks, Hazel performed a “post and delete,” expressing this opinion on Instagram. [This sounds like a spoiler alert, since Love and Hip Hop Hollywood is filming their new season].

Recently, Mona Scott Young was in New York for Essence’s #BlackWomeninMusic showcase this past weekend. While on the red carpet, she was asked a question about how her shows are now addressing colorism.

In traditional Mona Scott Young fashion she answered the same question Charlamagne Tha God asked, Love and Hip Hop Miami Star Amara La Negra:

Scott-Young said accordingly:

“It surprises me that people are acting like, “What is colorism?”

Listen. We know, even within our own community… It’s not just in the Latino community. It’s in the African-American community… and the Caribbean community so it’s something we have to deal with. So this was something that I felt like bringing to the forefront, because if we don’t talk about something, how do we foster understanding?”

Basically, Mona Scott Young wanted to show how colorism exists in the African-American and Caribbean communities.

We’re glad Mona is shedding light on a subject matter that is being overlooked. With Trump in office this season of LHHM couldn’t be more relevant, because struggle with whites is just one aspect. It’s the struggle in the communities that are even more extreme when one is just trying to be true to themselves.

As for, Hazel-E, she caught wind of the comments from Mona and felt disrespected.

If you recall, Hazel-E and her boyfriend Rose Burgundy felt tons of backlash from their comments on Instagram from black women and the LGBT community.

Who can forget, Hazel specifically talking negatively about dark skinned black women and Rose slammed gay people. It was ignorant on both of their parts. Earlier this year, Hazel-E and her boyfriend Rose Burgundy felt tons of backlash from their comments on Instagram from black women and the LGBT community. Hazel specifically talked negatively about dark skinned black women and Rose slammed gay people.

As a consequence for these actions, she and Rose were apparently fired from “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood.”

This is why Hazel is sounding off – the former Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star posted that she actually received a contract to sign for the upcoming season of LHHH and may appear on a future episode of “Fix My Life” with Iyanla Vanzant. She also called out Mona for not even having a conversation with her about the comments made.
